First of all you need GTA SA

Then you need to download the SA-MP 0.3D R2 Client from http://www.sa-mp.com/download.php

Now you need to install it.

Iff you run the installer you first click: I Agree

Next you need to find your GTA SA folder. Iff you buy the game it is just standard in C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\ (like in the box). Did you download it (Illegal) browse for your folder and click ok.

Next click Install.

Then it gonna be installed.




Iff installing is done click: Finish

Now find the SA-MP Launcher

After you launched SA-MP you need to add the Team NeO Server.

First of all you need a name fill that in here:

I choose the name NeO_Ravers ( WATCH IT NEVER USE NeO_ IN YOUR NAME IFF YOU WANNA JOIN TEAM NEO! You can only use it iff your an accepted NeO Member )

Now you need to add an server by clicking this button.

Iff you clicked that button you get an screen where you need to fill in the IP Adress of a server (Our IP adress is: 109.70.148.75:7777 ) you need to fill that IP adress in the screen.

Then click OK.

Then you've succesfull added our server!

Now click 1 TIME at our server then press the connect button.

Then you join now you need to setup an password by typing the password you want in this box:

After you did that you need to login with you're registered password.

So, here's what me and Llama have been talking about as of late. There are still many popular SAMP servers out there and they happen to be RP instead of DM. I've already seen some people who are against the idea and some who support the idea of switching to RP, but there's a few things we all need to really consider about the idea...


If we do make the switch, there will still be an area where people can DM for those who want to DM. Not everyone wants to DM and that's one of the things that could help increase the player count. Especially with newer players who still haven't gotten the hang of the game.

Another thing is that with RP comes many more options for players. It can be more complicated than, "Just rob somtehing and get arrested / killed." Some people prefer to just do different things than that on SAMP. And, with RP, we could also make things like wanted level and cops more complex - more available wanted levels, different forms of punishment for different crimes, etc.

To expand on that last point, players would be able to do many more jobs that wouldn't require a wanted level and such (Though there would still be ways they could become wanted, obviously.) The main difference would be that without committing a serious offense (Murder, robbinng a bank, etc.) cops would be unable to shoot them, plus cops would be able to ticket lower wanted level players (As in they get paid the money and the players wanted level gets cleared with /ticket.) Also, players wouldn't be allowed to kill others without a reason.

I'm not going to over elaborate on things about the potential RP server at this time, though. lol But, remember, the server's been in really rough shape and we need to think and do something to get the player count back up. If it's not going to be a switch to RP, then we need other major ideas instead. :S Because, the count has been way too low lately.
